Compassion and Excellence
Enriching lives in the communities we serve is symbolic of Interstate Batteries' foundational corporate culture of community outreach and giving back to worthy projects. From feeding the hungry and homeless in Dallas to writing letters to military personnel abroad, Interstate leads with what people need by illustrating its core value of a Servant's Heart.
Scripture basis: 1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
The Servant’s Heart Award is given to Interstate team members who sacrificially give their time to help others. Whether they are mentoring at-risk students, providing meals to the home-bound or making a terminally ill child smile, these individuals live out the value of Servant’s Heart by sharing the gift of time everywhere they go.
The Chaplain's Department of Interstate Batteries exists to impact others with the love of Christ. The value this department seeks most to exhibit is Love. We offer many programs in which you may participate, but your participation is optional. Come hear an inspirational speaker at lunch, consider participating in one of the ministries Interstate Batteries supports or simply stop by to talk.
